Coca-Cola Announces Reduce Sugar Content in Smaller Cans
Sugar Reduction Meets Consumer Demand
Responding to consumer demand for reduced-sugar beverage options, Coca-Cola has announced a significant reduction in sugar content for its smaller can sizes. The move aims to provide greater choice and cater to consumers seeking healthier alternatives without compromising taste.
Key Changes in Smaller Cans
The 75 oz mini soda can now contains 25 grams of sugar and 90 calories, significantly lower than the 39 grams of sugar in a standard 12 oz can. Additionally, the 8 oz can has been reduced from 26 grams of sugar to 25 grams, while the 85 oz can now contains 28 grams of sugar.
Coca-Cola emphasizes that the availability of different can sizes and sugar content variations allows consumers to tailor their beverage choices to their individual preferences.
